Selling your boat through Sea Ventures

• Sea Ventures offer a professional yacht brokerage service from our dedicated used boat sales centres at Hamble Point Marina and Brighton Marina.
• At Hamble Point Marina we have a sales area ashore in front of the office and in Brighton Marina we have a sales area afloat in front of the office. Over 90% of our used boat sales are achieved through these sales displays. If you are serious about selling your boat we cannot stress the importance of this facility enough; to professionally present and proactively sell your boat.
• Sea Ventures have been main Jeanneau yachts dealers and Aquador powerboats for years. In addition, we have recently taken on the dealership for Sabre yachts and Sabre powerboats.

• Inspect your boat wherever possible and advise the vendor regarding current market rate.
• Prepare a comprehensive specification of your boat and take photos (if possible)
• Wherever possible arrange accompanied viewings on your boat.
• Promote your boat on the internet with YBW, Yachtworld, European Yacht Brokerage network, and on our own website.

• Sea Ventures will handle all the sales paperwork, obtain money from purchasors into our client account.
• Purchasers receive a full handover and our staff are always on hand to assist with any questions whilst you familiarize yourself with your new boat.
• We keep copies of all paper work should you require duplicates in the future, and when you decide it is time to change we will offer you a loyalty discount on our brokerage rates.

• 8% Standard brokerage fee.
• 6% Discounted fee for used Jeanneau, Aquador and Sabre Yachts.
• A further 2% reduction can be obtained if the vendor proceeds to buying a brand new boat off Sea Ventures.
