De Vries Lentsch Kotter 14 m

£99,950 tax

This 14m (45ft 9in) de Vries Lentsch Kotter motor cruiser is built of Corten steel to a very high specification and commissioned in 2001.   Having completed an exhaustive refit in 2014 she is now unexpectedly for sale owing to a change of plan, offering tremendous value for money.  The Duchess has proved herself equally suitable for cruising the inland waterways of Europe as coastal cruising and cross channel trips.  Her two DAF 120hp naturally aspirated engines provide a cruising speed of 6/7 knots with a top speed of 8/9 knots, they are completely reliable and economical, whilst the powerful Kalkman bow thruster makes boat handling very straight forward.

We have inspected "The Duchess" ourselves, and can report that she really is a credit to her owners, extremely well built, maintained and in excellent condition. She is genuinely "ready to go".

The owner will consider assisting with any delivery trips for the new owner.

Owner's Remarks

The Duchess has recently cruised the Thames and French canals as well as dipping her toes in the Mediterranean. There are insect screens for most windows and many upgrades have been carried out; she complies with all Thames cruising requirements. The recent refit included upgrades, renewals and improvements including, but not limited to, the purpose made mattress to the master cabin, recent upholstery throughout, recent wheelhouse hood / canopy, 24v full size marine fridge with excellent freezer compartment. Installation of three solar panels charging the domestic batteries, newly installed forward heads compartment with electric, fresh water sea toilet emptying overboard or to the newly installed black water tank with overboard pump or deck emptying facility. Recently installed Raymarine echosounder, 2014 fitted cork laid flooring to the wheelhouse floor and completely new fuel system in fireproof material with new primary water separators to both tanks + remote fuel shut off valves.

With her double glazed and insulated accommodation, she would be an ideal live aboard.
