Semi-planing hull with twin diesel shaft drive engines

Owners CommentsWe have had a wonderful 3 years travelling the Tirrenian sea with Fralu’, she is incredibly comfortable and easy to sail and consumes diesel like a sailboat! Having been "Velisti”, sailors of sail boats for 25 years we decided we needed something easier to manage technically and with ease of passage throughout the boat, Fralu’s design accommodates this perfectly. We have been able to use her in all weathers having installed awnings for all seasons, but in particular, the large stern at the back and low-lying cushioned sunbathing deck at the front are an absolute dream in the summer. We have sailed in comfort in some of the hottest weather in the Med due to excellent ventilation from the summer shades, large stern French windows and cockpit doors as well as mosquito nets over the cabin portholes, and of course there is the air conditioning when necessary. We have sailed her to some spectacular locations but have spent the last 3 summer seasons lazing and snorkelling the day away in the Elba, Corsica and the Costa Esmeralda in Sardegna, anchoring in stunning Budelli, Spargi, Razzoli, Maddalena and Caprera as well as Rondinara and Lavezzi. Unforgettable moments!
