A fun and forgiving performance boat that is easy to sail J-105 offers low maintenance with a simple layout, has great performance, a large cockpit, predictable handling characteristics.
The J-105 makes a great, cheap starter boat for those looking to get into shorthanded sailing. A lot of bang for the buck and very competitive under the IRC Handicap rule with proven offshore results. “Jacana” is a great example and benefits from a recent refit and new sails.
She has a proven track record in the Solent, the hot bed of IRC racing in the UK.
