A Reichel Pugh 42 originally designed for the GP42 rule in 2007. The hull is of carbon pre-preg foam sandwich, Kerr designed fabricated steel fin with composite fairings and rudder a Reichel Pugh carbon blade and stock with carbon tiller. The boat came to the UK and was extensively modified in 2016 to compete in the Fast 40 Class.  These modifications included removal of the coach roof, new deeper keel fin and a new, taller Hall Spars high modulus mast. She has just benefitted from a full refit including full re-fair and paint job to the hull, topsides and deck. Khumbu has a great track record and is ready to compete in the revitalised Admirals cup or equally at home under ORC.
