The Jeanneau Leader 40 incorporates high performance with luxurious detail throughout her spacious interior and comfortable cockpit.

As with her smaller sisters a Hardtop/Sportop is available to give greater protection from the elements yet with a touch of a button open up to give access to the sun and sea air. The Leader 40’s accommodation is generous and comfortable both in the well-appointed cockpit and inside, where you will find a spacious saloon and two sleeping cabins. Jeanneau’s objective to provide ample space for all on board is clearly well achieved.

Her large cockpit, with numerous storage compartments and external galley, is designed to enjoy the sea atmosphere and have easy access to the water. The large bathing platform is also offered in hydraulic version (optional) for launching the tender. The Leader 40 is perfect for enjoying a day in the sun and activities on the water.

Inside the accommodation is light and airy with a feel of luxury from the materials used. Particularly comfortable and inviting, the forward owners cabin features a direct access to the heads; while another three berths are available in the private central cabin. Combine this with a well-ventilated and ergonomically designed galley and chic central saloon (with additional converting berth option) and the accommodation is all that you would expect from a modern Jeanneau

With all of this packed into the powerful and capable hull of the Jeanneau Leader 40 you have the perfect package!

2017 Revisions bring new version of the Leader 40 which will be available with a lounge-style cockpit on the exterior, as well as a version with more open space on the interior.

The LOUNGE COCKPIT version will offer new dimension for life on board: the cockpit table and seating transform according to your needs.

The OPEN SPACE version allows for a fully enclosed forward cabin, with a pocket door in the bulkhead. Two optional seats are also available.

Hi Tim We've got Navicula safely back from Guernsey. An interesting sail, with the cruising chute up for several hours, in F3-4 (dropped at 20kn, Sue insisted) then a close reach up the Solent in a brisk breeze, making a good average 7.5 kn for passage planning purposes. Anyway, we've given her a clean today and she's looking fine on her berth if you want to take anyone down to see her (marina has you down as authorised to take the keys from the harbour office). Best wishes Gavin ps about 400 miles under the keel now, and v pleased with her, thanks.
