Fast, easy and safe. With their latest “9” series Sun Odyssey models, Jeanneau have followed the route of taking all the elements that have made these such successful yachts in the past and then made them even better. This fresh and innovative approach to the hull, deck and interior design of the Sun Odyssey 409 has resulted in a yacht that is not only incredibly easy to handle but is fast as well.

Whether it is club racing or family cruising that interests you the choice sail plan combined with her high- aspect rig will give YOUR Jeanneau SO 409  the performance you want in an easy to handle manner.

The modern hull designed by Philippe Briand takes advantage of latest advances in hull design. The hard chine on the aft section of the hull increases stability and performance while creating extra volume in the aft cabins.

Her interior feels modern and contemporary and yet comfortable and welcoming. This has been achieved by using the finest materials available... High end fabrics and different flooring, make a space that can be combined to each owners taste and style.

Several interior layouts are available including a 3 cabin layout with 2 heads that includes a separate shower compartment.

The Sun Odyssey 409 has received the 2010/2011 European Yacht of the Year Award. This nomination comes from the major European magazines from 11 different countries and is well deserved!

SEE WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

We moved our boat (a Beneteau First 27.7) from her mooring on the Menai strait to Gosport only to find another First - the 31.7 AVIVA - for sale by Sea Ventures from Hamble point. I met Tim Harley in the boathouse cafe Gosport marina when he took a look at our boat, pronounced her fit for part exchange and then, seemingly in a trice, I’d fallen for AVIVA and the deal was on. As such things go (and I’ve been involved in a few) this was a smooth and pleasant process... we agreed price, took the boat around to the Hamble, moved all our possessions from boat to boat and within a couple of weeks were sailing back to Gosport in our new pride and joy. In all of this Sea Ventures (represented by Tim) were a model of courteous efficiency...being businesslike, in my opinion, is about being relaxed but firm, doing what’s promised, hitting deadlines and being friendly and pleasant to boot. Tim was all of these and more. Recommending Sea Ventures is therefore no problem for me (even though we bought a Beneteau from a Jeanneau agent...!)
- Dave K (Beneteau First 31.7)
