The Jeanneau 519 sailing yacht sailing yacht is the flagship of the Sun Odyssey range... and it shows! The 2017 specification improvements make this yacht absolutely top of her class.
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 519 is designed by Phillippe Briand and has many similarities to her smaller sisters with her long waterline and hard chines making her a recognisable modern Sun Odyssey. She is offered with such a degree of flexibility with regard to layout, sailplan, interior decor and other finishing touches that the end result is an individuality rarely seen from today's major volume manufacturers.
At sea her flush deck hatches and integrated rigging give a safe and ergonomically designed environment for working the yacht and her high-aspect rig delivers effortless performance that makes passage making a pleasure. The large number of sail plans available will allow you to choose whatever suits your sailing needs best.
Internally there are several choices of layouts which combine with natural light and the use of luxurious materials, solid woods, matt varnish and light fabrics to provide a contemporary and comfortable living area. Jeanneau's designers have created a four "zoned" areas which flow from one to the other in their use throughout the accommodation. The result is very pleasing indeed.
The Jeanneau 519 is a very exciting yacht and a fine flagship.
For 2017 Season , all Sun Odyssey models will be available with – in addition to the classic teak – an optional oak interior. Customisation will also be enhanced by a selection of three different floorboards, as well as by the multitude of upholstery choices.
What our customers say
Hope you're both well?
I don't know if you follow these things or perhaps you might have taken part in yesterdays race but I thought you might be interested in the results for the 379's which seems to show some pedigree in the face of a blow.
Conditions were very testing with over 300 retirements but there were two 379's in ISC Class 5B, ourselves and a boat called Carumba, she made it round in 7.40, we took slightly longer at 7.47 taking second and third in class and 14th and 22nd in ISC overall out of 700 odd which I think is amazing and beating several larger jeanneau's as well.
I've always felt she is quick boat but this is the first time I've raced her and so she proved.
Warren, we left the technifurl on deck given the 20+knots winds but I have used it a number of times now in the light stuff and it works very well thank you.
